The United States has one of the most formidable sports cultures on the planet. We give our schools access to some excellent facilities, and we promote sporting in general in a variety of ways in our society; with a country the size of ours, it’s hard not to understand why we are so athletic. As winter approaches the fall soccer season is coming to a close. Kids of all ages are hanging up their jerseys and cleaning off their cleats for the season. They are sad to say goodbye to their encouraging coaches and loyal teammates, but most of all sad to say goodbye to a sport they love until next season. Being involved in an organized sport is one of the best character building activities a child can participate in. They learn the values and life lessons that can be gained from the experience of playing such as fairness, hard work, not giving up and always being a good sport whether you win or lose. Sports often have a lot to do with raising kids self esteem by giving them a hobby that they love and can be proud of.

As an Entrepreneur for over 13 years now, there has been numerous occasions where I have worked my fingers to the bone and pulled an all-nighter to meet a deadline only to wake up feeling like I’ve been run over by a truck and my body parts have been eaten by wild dogs, (graphic I know but you get the picture).
