Yes, painful as hell, basically caught my blades (boot) in the turf so my body moved in the opposite direction to my standing foot. Needless to say have never worn blades in the 3 years since. It’s called a Weber fracture, my was a Type C (like this guy, Alan Smith and Danny Cipriani)

I did exactly the same injury on my right ankle. Fracture dislocation….took me about 5 months to recover. Two plates in my ankle but you can come back and fully recover.
