This drill is one I have used many times as it is very competitive, very game like and also gives the coach the opportunity to coach both attacking and defending principles of soccer. The basic set up is to have an area of 20-30 yards wide and 20-30 yards with a goal at each end. Place cones at the halfway line, so that pitch is divided into two halves.
