I have played soccer my whole life and I have also coached youth soccer.  It has always been frustrated because I could never find one single website that will provide all youth soccer information from the United States and International.  Every morning I will open up my browser and go to 4  or 5 websites to catch up in all youth soccer.  After many years of doing this, I decided to put together a website that will help me to find all the information, thus SoccerMyLife was created. 

This initiative has grown to over 2 editors writing stories, 2 coaches, and about 200 worldwide contributors who email us or call us to let us know of different information and different stories.

What is on a name… Soccer is my Life.  I played, I watch, I get involved in youth soccer.  My wife and kids also play soccer, all 3 of them.  My wife played soccer in High School and Indoor.  Both of my boys play soccer at the travel/elite level and my daughter is a state ranked gymnast but we are trying to convert her to playing soccer.

Our Pledge

One thing that caught my attention in US youth soccer has been the high cost of competitive youth soccer.  The teams fees, uniforms, tournaments, etc.  Because of this I have decided to create a SoccerMyLife Youth Team Fund.  Every year SoccerMyLife will sponsor one youth player to any team for the whole year.  We will start with one player and we will grow this initiative until we can sponsor a complete team of 11 players.  Once we reach that goal we will sponsor several age divisions.  If I had a choice, I would like to sponsor a complete league.  However for that we need sponsors or readers like you viewing our site on a daily basis.  Help us to bring soccer to kids who are unable to have the means to pay for the high cost of competitive soccer.
